Important Information for all Wolf Laurel Members and guests. |
August 12, 2013
Dear Wolf Laurel Member,
This is a reminder to create awareness and use caution when playing hole #10 at Wolf Laurel Country Club. There are multiple homes adjacent to the left side of the golf course that often get hit due to errant golf shots. The residences also get hit with golf balls by players who are attempting to cut the corner of the dogleg. Out of respect for our fellow residents adjoining #10, we should proceed with caution and direct our tee shots to within the boundaries of play. We would like to discourage players from attempting to cut the corner. "If a player chooses to cut the corner, that person assumes the personal liability for any injury to person or property occasioned by attempting to cut the corner."
If a player's golf ball does go into the woods a drop area is available at the bottom of
the hill to be utilized with a one stroke
penalty. This drop area is used to discourage a second ball being played from the teeing ground, and also create a better experience on the golf course for our members and guests. Hitting practice balls from the 10th teeing ground is prohibited. Members and/or their guest could be subject to disciplinary actions which may include, but not limited to suspension of play; suspension of membership privilege or other actions deemed appropriate by the Pro Shop and/or the Wolf Laurel Board depending on the intent and degree of the violation. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter. Please
feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. Thank You.
