Wolf Laurel Historical Society Program Wednesday, July 13, 4 pm at WLCC

The WLHS is proud to present Laura Boosinger in a return visit. Laura is one of North Carolina’s finest traditional musicians. Laura, who is sometimes called "the Songbird of the Smokies," will entertain you with her musical talents and pleasant personality.

She features a variety of traditional stringed instruments, including old-time banjo, guitar, Appalachian dulcimer and fingerstyle Autoharp. She is also known for "Shape Note" music. In addition to her many performances in and out of this county and even this country, Laura is the Executive Director of the Madison County Arts Council.

All are invited to attend. WLHS programs are held on the 2nd Wed. each month thru Sept. Yearly memberships are available & ensure that quality speakers are scheduled; $15 individual / $25 family.
