Welcome to all the members families who are joining us for the traditional July 4th weekend. It should be a great weekend to be on the mountain with Chef Rudi’s famous Patriot's Buffet which will feature a salad bar, peel and eat shrimp, steamship round, along with a variety of desserts all for $ 21.95++ on July 3rd starting at 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. In addition, we will have a DJ playing your favorite dance music for all to enjoy. We will also offer breakfast on all Saturdays in July starting at 8:00 am until 10:30. The pro shop will be featuring the annual Flag Tournament Saturday morning so sign up and get an early tee time which will be followed by a BBQ lunch on the patio. July 4th we will feature breakfast starting at 8:00am until 10:30 am and a hamburger and hot dog cookout on the patio with brownies and cookies and an outside bar offering beer and drink specials for all to enjoy while watching the Golf Cart and Dog Parade in front of the club at 5:00pm. Prizes will be given to the winners and it will all lead up to the annual fireworks display down at the Pavilion Area in the Villages. On Monday July 5th we will offer breakfast from 8:00 am until 10:30 and a Pizza Buffet from 11:30 until 2:00 pm for those families still celebrating the long holiday weekend.

The annual Hospice fund raiser is scheduled for July 16 and 17 with a golf tournament. The traditional Hospice dinner and auction will take place on the evening of July 17^th. I encourage everyone to support this worthwhile event.

July is also a big month for the Mens and Ladies Golf associations so make sure you sign up for their numerous events during the month. The final fun event for Golf is the Hoedown Tournament on July 31^st so make sure you don’t miss this fun event and be sure to dress up.

The Membership Committee led by RT Davis continues to recruit new members to the club and any leads on potential members will certainly be appreciated. If you have a potential member please let me know or RT so we can provide a new member package and give the potential golf member a complimentary round of golf with the sponsoring member. New members are the key to our growth and financial success and keep in mind the sponsoring member will receive a $1,000.00 Credit toward their member food account for a new Golf member and $500.00 for a new Social member.
