December Doings...

The Club again will be open on Fridays and Saturdays, with some extra evenings during the Christmas to New Years’ week. So far, the schedule is:

Dec. 4, Friday: Fridays at Five

Dec.5, Saturday: Chili, cornbread, apple slaw and dessert

Dec.11 Friday: Fridays at Five

Dec.12, Saturday: Chinese dinner; Beef and Broccoli, Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan, eggrolls, rice, dessert

Dec. 18: Fridays at Five; Special tree trimming party; Cider, carols, punch

Dec. 19: Saturday: Christmas dinner from Artisan catering featuring Ginger-Sesame pork loin, vegetables, roasted potatoes, dessert

Dec.24: Thursday: Christmas Eve: “Feast of Saint Nicholas” service with Father Hall; Dance performance by the Halls’ son, Richard Cravens and a visit from Santa. Cookies, Coffee and Cocoa. Open to all residents. In the Country Club lobby at 4:00 pm; no reservations necessary.

CLOSED: Friday, December 25.

OPEN: All Week After Christmas

*Dec .26: Saturday: Bring leftovers and a friend!

*Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: Dec.28-30:
The Club will be open each evening for parties, to watch football games etc. Please let us know if you want to plan something special on one of those nights; we’re open to suggestions.

*Dec.31, Thursday: New Years Eve Dinner/Dance: Prime Rib, with a Freddie Buck Combo for rocking in the New Year.

UPDATE: Details: New Year's Eve at WLCC. Please make Reservations for New Years by Saturday, Dec.26, so we get the best price on prime rib.

*Jan 1-2, Friday & Saturday: Hours will be posted, football, Fridays at Five, and dinner on Saturday.

As always, make your dinner reservations by 5 pm Thursdays for the following Saturdays’ dinner at 828-680-9771.

Winter Things to Know
*We are open to all WL residents all winter long.
*The Lounge is open every Fri and Sat at 5:00 PM.
*$2/person Cover Charge each evening.
*Dinner reservations by 5:00 PM on Thursday please.
*Reservations at: 828 680 9771, please leave your telephone number.
*No member charges or credit cards.
*Checks payable to WLCC Winter Ops.
*Stay in touch with this blog in the event of weather cancellations.
