22nd Annual Hospice Events July 18-19-20


Preliminary Info:
*All proceeds go to Hospice of Madison County.
*Entry deadline is July 15.
*Registration Forms for Golf, Auctions and Dinner are at the Pro Shop.
*First tee time each day is 9 am, Please register early.

Cost is $85 for one day of golf, auction, and dinner, $125 for two days of golf, auction and dinner, and $65 for Saturday golf only (includes box lunch).

Sponsorships and Donations
*Silver, Donations of $100-199 .
*Gold, Donations of $250-499.
*Platinum, Donations of $500-999.
*Diamond, Donations of $1000 or more.

Honor Rolls will be posted at The Club, and we accept your contributions most graciously.

A Proud History: In the past 21 years, Wolf Laurel has raised over $610,000 for Hospice, including $46,000 in 2007, a new record! Let's make this an even more successful year.

The Details and Times
Refreshments will be available on the course, with box lunches provided on Saturday. Prizes will be given to the winning teams, and closest to the pin, with gift bags for all participants.

Friday
July 18: Wolf Laurel Residents
*Captains' Choice, Bring your own foursome or let us pair you.
*8:00 AM: Registration and Continental Breakfast.
*9:00 AM: Shotgun Start
*Refreshments will be available on the course.

*5:30 PM until 7 PM: Wine Tasting
Featuring specially selected fine wines, donated by generous residents. Suggested minimum donation for this special event is $25. Sign up now by calling Meg at 680-9771 for reservations.

*Selected Silent Auction items, (Details below), will be available for preview during the wine tasting.

Saturday July 19: Open to All
Format is Captain's Choice
*9:00 AM: First Tee Time, Registration is available one half hour before a tee time. Box lunches are provided on this day, and again, refreshments will be available on the course.

*10:00 AM until 2 PM: Farmer's Market
The Bake Sale needs your culinary skills. Please bring items to The Club around 9 am. For information you may call 689-4230 or 680-9627.

*The Odds 'n Ends Sale
One person's trash is another one's treasure. Please bring any items, (no clothes), to The Club on Saturday, July 19 at 9 am. For information please call 680-9892.

*Vegetable Sale & Plant Sale
Biodiversity in action for all budding gardeners, pun intended.

*5:00 PM until 6:30 PM: Silent Auction and Live Auction
We are looking for items of intrinsic value and very special bottles of wine for these auctions. If you have anything to donate, please call 689-9944, or 680-9210 or 689-9092 ASAP.

Wine should have a minimum value of $25. Please, no athletic equipment. Items ranging from artisan works to golf equipment characterize the Silent Auction, while The Live Auction has more exoitc fare such as Florida vacations to the Wall of Wine.

Selected Silent Auction items will be available for preview Friday, July 18 at the Wine Tasting from 5:30–7 pm.

Successful bidders will be notified after dinner. Check-out will be Sunday, July 20 at WLCC from 11:30 am – 2 pm during brunch. Exceptions can be made for those with logistical constraints. Questions, 689-9092 or michelehunt1 (AT) verizon (DOT) net.

*From 7:00 PM:
Dinner will immediately follow the Live Auction. The price for dinner is $35 per person ($15 for children 12 and under), a portion of which is tax-deductible.

*And Still More: 50/50 Drawing
Tickets are available at $20 each or 6 for $100 and may be purchased in The Lounge or at the Registration table. Money from the drawing will be awarded as follows: 50% of the proceeds will go to Hospice and 50% to the winner.

11:30 AM until 2 PM: Our traditional Sunday Brunch.
