Details: June 25: Rally for the Cure
Time is near....this Wednesday, Rally for the Cure. Looks like they offer a really nice bonus if anyone scores a hole in one!
And don't forget, the opportunity to sponsor a hole for this worthy cause.
8:00 AM
*Breakfast and registration on the porch from 8 to 8:30 AM. We will be selling a package of "4 for 5$" at that time. This means you may purchase 2 mulligans, one free hand toss, and one gimme putt. This money will go to the Rally donation.
8:45 AM
*4 person scramble with shotgun start. This year our new Pro, Bobby A, will assign players to teams, making the handicap as even as possible. This game will be fun for all level players, no matter what your ability. If you own golf clubs - we want you to play!
Lunch & Post Tournament
*Soup and Salad buffet lunch immediately following golf. Lunch is also available for non-golfing members at a cost of $20, $5 of which is a donation. Please tell all your friends. Reservations are both encouraged and appreciated in order to make your experience as good as it can be.
*Prizes and awards for the top 3 teams!
*Be sure and bring some extra cash so you can participate in some other fun games of chance, all done in the interest of the charity.
Cost
*The cost of the event is $70 for members and their personal guests. $20 of this is a direct donation to "Rally for the Cure", $15 is for lunch, and the rest is for cart fee and prizes. Any extra money will be added to our contribution.
Administrative Info
*Entry forms are available in the Pro Shop. Please make your check payable to "WLWGA" with Rally for the Cure noted on the bottom. You can turn this in at the desk or to Karen Stormer or Bonnie Sale. Pre registration is appreciated so that we aren't rushing at the registration table on the morning of the event.
