Re:       Personnel decisions/David Letterman

WLCC has terminated the employment agreement of golf course superintendent David Letterman.  This very difficult, yet necessary action, was done in the best interests of the Club.

We awarded David a severance package, most of which was not required by that employment agreement.

We authorized Bobby Anglin, our Club’s incoming general manager, to name a temporary superintendent for the remainder of this year, pending a search for David’s replacement.  That temporary person is Scott Sparks, who has served for the last several years as second in command of the golf course staff.  He knows the course very well and will do a very good job in taking over.  Please give him your support moving forward.

I hope you understand that I cannot go much further in the way of an explanation due to the fact that it is a personnel issue.
