Friday, Feb 26: Open Tonight

I just drove up to The Club and we have everything in place to be open tonight for Fridays at Five.

Parking is plowed and available in the side lot by The Pro Shop.

We will open at 5:00 PM, with the fire going. We will close at 7:00 PM in the event no one is there.

March Changes Alert
Effective in March, we will not be opening on any Fridays, but we will open every Saturday for Saturdays at Five.

This is being done in order to make The Club available to the greatest number of residents in a single night per week.

Same format, bring friends and appetizers, just a different evening. We will have dinner in March, on the 20th.

As always, if anyone needs us to open for some event or idea, please contact me. As Winter morphs into Spring, with more people around, we may resume opening Fridays and Saturdays.

Feb 27 & March Alert

Hello Everyone,

Seems like we will have to watch the weather again, but we will certainly try to have Fridays at Five this week, on Feb 27 in The Lounge.

We are on for Fridays at Five tonight, a real rarity of late.

As this is being written, the weather continues to look favorable, and is even better tomorrow evening.

After The Snow: Some Nice Weather

Wow,
The storm was less than anticipated, and we have bright blue skies and sunshine this morning.

The weather looks good for the weekend which means the Winter Ops will actually be open this weekend. We could sure use your help after so many weather cancellations.

Roads
As of 11 AM this morning it was an uneventful but gorgeous drive from The Village, up Spring Valley, onto El Miner and Oakridge to The Club. Here's a few follow up photos after the snow, and hope to see many of you this weekend!

Winter Postcard

Hi Everyone,
A few photos here for all of our members who are not around this winter.

I drove up to The Club yesterday after a two day respite from our epic weather, over dry roads and warming conditions. Things were fine until I made it to WLCC.

By the way, blizzard conditions with winds up to 70 MPH are expected on top of this in the next 24 hours, and our poor trees are already drooping.

Valentine's Schedule: Feb 12 & 13
The weather is supposed to die down Thursday afternoon, and hopefully we will have a nice Valentine's Weekend to remedy our collective cabin fever.

Feb 5: Weather Closing

Continuing our epic weather pattern, WLCC will be closed this weekend. Road reports were sketchy around 1 PM, and worsening.
