Hello Everyone,

Until May 1, we are open to all WL residents. There is a $2/person cover charge. Reservations are not required to come to The Lounge.

The Club will be closed on one Saturday this month, making the week ahead look like this:

Friday, April 3
"Fridays at Five", please bring an appetizer to share if you can and invite your friends. Fridays this winter have seen anything from Karaoke to Movie Nights and games.

Saturday, April 4
Club is Closed.

Don't Forget:
Easter Weekend schedule, April 10-11, or the Pig Pickin' and Bluegrass, April 24-25.

April 24- 25: Pig Pickin' and Bluegrass

Join us for a the last big fling of the Winter Program on the weekend of April 24 and 25, open to all WL Residents.

Friday April 24
The Lounge will open at 5:00 PM with the usual $2 cover charge. End of winter drink specials will be on hand, so please bring an appetizer to share if you are able.

Saturday April 25
The Lounge will open at 5:00 PM, with a $2 cover charge. The main event so to speak, will be an all you can eat Pig Pickin' with Live Bluegrass.

Full Menu: Roast Pork, Hash, Rice, Baked Beans, Coleslaw and Dessert, all for $14/person, including the cover charge. Roast Pig by Allan Shumaker.

Reservations Required: We will need reservations by 5:00 PM Thursday, April 23 at 828 680 9771.

Easter Weekend at WLCC

Hello All,

The weather has been in the mid 60's, and by mid April and The Easter Weekend will hopefully be warmer still. Here is what we have on tap for April 10 and 11.

The Lounge opens at 5:00 PM, with a $2 cover charge each night.

We are open to all WL residents until May 1.

Friday, April 10
Fridays at Five: Possibilities might include the Fred Astaire and Judy Garland film Easter Parade or feel free to suggest something in the comments below. This winter, Fridays have ranged from sing alongs, to games, and movie nights. If you are able, please bring an appetizer to share.

Saturday, April 11
Easter Eve Dinner: The Lounge opens at 5 PM with dinner at 6:30. Menu includes Spiral Ham with Pineapple Glaze, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Rolls, Carrot Cake. All for $15/person including our cover charge.

Reservations Required: Please make reservations by 12 Noon, Saturday, April 10th, at 828 680 9771.

Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder that we need reservations by 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, at 828 680 9771 for our Roast Chicken Dinner this Saturday, March 28.

April Calendar

Here we go, the final month of Winter Operations. The 2009 Annual Calendar begins May 1, and can be viewed here.

**The calendar for April is expanded. We've added some dinners in anticipation of members visiting the mountain more frequently as winter wanes...

**The Lounge opens at 5:00 PM on the following evenings to all WL residents. There is a $2 cover charge each night. In the event no one arrives, we will close at 7:00 PM. Reservations are not needed, except for dinners, and deadlines will be announced here.

The Lounge is open to all WL residents on Friday and Saturday this week. In the event no one arrives, we will close at 7:00 PM.

*Friday, March 27: The Lounge will open at 5:00 PM with a 2$ cover charge, and our usual Fridays at Five format. Please bring an appetizer to share if you can. It's still fireplace weather in the evenings. We might play some games, watch a film, or...

*Saturday, March 28: The Lounge will open at 5:00 PM with a 2$ cover charge. *Dinner will be served at 6:30PM: Roast Chicken, Rice Pilaf with Mushrooms, Greek Salad, Rolls, and Dessert. *Cost: $13.00/person, includes cover charge.

We are open to all WL residents, the fireplace will be going, and we can watch the recent film, The Changeling. 2008, directed by Clint Eastwood, starring Angelina Jolie and based on a true story.

Reminder For Sat, March 14

Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder that reservations for The Ides of March Pizza Party and Karaoke Fest are needed by tomorrow, March 14 at 12 Noon at 828 680 9771.

We are of course open Friday and Saturday this weekend at 5 PM to all residents.

The info/registration form for the 2009 Member - Guest Tournament is now up, and available for download and printing.

**As of 06/11/09 there were 4 slots left for play.

The form outlines, dates, times, and events from June 18-20, including:

*June 19 Annual Fashion Show
*June 20 Lunch on The Bald
*The Dinner - Dance on Sat, June 20 is open to ALL Members whether playing in the tournament of not. Cost is 35$ per person with music by local favorite, Kids Our Age.

This Week:
Friday, March 13: The Lounge will open at 5:00 PM with a 2$ cover charge, and our usual Fridays at Five format. Please bring an appetizer to share if you can.

We are open to all WL residents, the fireplace will be going, and the movie library is growing. In the event no one arrives, we will close at 7:00PM as usual.

Saturday, March 14: The Lounge will open at 5 PM, with a 2$ cover charge, followed by an Ides of March Pizza Party and Karaoke Fest. Cost is TBD, but will be reasonable.

Reservations for Pizza can be made at 828 680 9771. If that could be accomplished by 12 Noon on Saturday, we would surely appreciate it.
