Updates to The WLCC Website are in final draft.

There are still some spelling, punctuation, and syntax issues to clean up, but it's basically ready for people to surf around, test the navigation, etc.

If anyone notices any broken links, links that do not direct to the proper page, display anomalies, etc, please copy the url for that page, and email the specific issue to:
wlccblog (AT) gmail (DOT) com

In the case that a page does not display properly, it would be nice to know what browser and screen resolution are involved.

Some of the Updates:
*Contact info is now in the footer on every page.

*One of the biggest things it does is deliver information. This blog is now fully incorporated into the website allowing access to all forms of current calendars and events.

*A 5 page Event Planning Section has been added for members and outside functions with FAQ's, menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, buffets, prices, and service packages.

*We also have the ability to announce current specials & info from the Pro Shop, as well as from the Lounge, and Restaurant.

*Mens and Womens Golf now have a page with access to current events, contacts, and last minute updates.

*Brighter, and more current photos including a 600 pixel slide show of sights and scenes. (Will try larger slide player at some point and maybe add/enable captions).

*Map and Directions page now includes a personalized WL map, with outbound links to Google Maps and Google Earth.

The Week of February 28

Hello Everyone,

This Week:
Friday, Feb 27: The Lounge will open at 5:00 Pm with a 2$ cover charge, and our usual Fridays at Five format. Bring an appetizer to share if you can.

We are open to all WL residents, the fire will be going, and the movie library is growing. In the event no one arrives, we will close at 7:00PM as usual.

Saturday, Feb 28:
*The Lounge opens at 5:00Pm to kick off the Banish The Winter Blues Dinner Party.
*Cost is $15/person, including cover charge.

The Week Ahead; Feb 20

This week, The Lounge will be Closed on Saturday Feb 21.

We will be open on Friday, February 20 from 5:00 PM, until ???

There have been some additions to our film library, so come on over, sit by the fire and we'll watch a movie on the new flat screen.

Remember, we are open this winter to all WL residents, so please tell your friends and bring an appetizer to share.

As always, we will close at 7 PM in the event no one arrives.

Friday February 27th we will open at 5:00 PM as usual.

Saturday Feb 28: Banish The Winter Blues Fest

About The Club Website

The WLCC website is now in a state of flux.

The first goal is to incorporate new content, such as marketing materials for outside event planners, and the current calendar/event information on this blog, while keeping the rest of site fully functional and uninterrupted.

Navigation to every page from every other page should be intact throughout this process, except for the first couple of hours that the new link structure is launched.

"Old" pages will exist with "new" ones during this time. Only the navigation structure will have changed in order to accommodate the new materials.

When we believe the site is close to a final form, it will be noted on this bulletin board.

In the meantime, go to the home page, or check out the materials for outside marketing, or the new current calendar and events page.

Reservations are not needed to come to The Lounge. There is a $2/person cover charge.

This week, we have a special event on Saturday for Valentine's Day.

Friday, Feb 13
Lounge is open from 5:00 PM until...? Bring an appetizer to share.
We will close at 7PM in the event no one arrives.

Saturday, Feb 14
Lounge is open at 5:00 PM.
Special Valentine's Dinner. Freddie Buck will entertain us from 6:30 till 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be our version of "Surf and Turf" including Beef Wellington, Shrimp ramekins, roasted potatoes, Caesar Salad and a Special Valentines Dessert.

Cost will be $22.00 per person which includes meal, cover charge and entertainment (though Freddie will also appreciate cash tips!) Please make your reservations by Thursday Feb. 12 at 828-680-9771.

February Calendar
